Why I tried this: The name attracted me. I also really wanted to try a Dubbel since I had not had one yet at WoB.Smell: Thick sweet malty scent.
Taste: Strong malty caramel flavor up front. Very smooth spice and malt flavor, well rounded taste. After flavor was a hint of alcohol and something else I cant identify. Overall was very enjoyable, I will for sure get this again.
On a scale of 1-10 I would give this a 8. This beer was tasty and delightful, the flavors worked together really well. I would absolutely recommend this beer to someone looking to try a Dubbel.
